We will miss your posts and comments, but far more important is the leadership that you provided by doing the right thing. Let's all follow the example and take action when God tells us what we need to do to follow Him in obedience. Sometimes this comes at some cost to us. It's worth it! -
Been a while...
I've been a busy little beaver this month, and I haven't posted a thing on the ole LJ. Just to update...My back is all better and I'm stronger than ever! just kidding. The only thing is that I haven't been able to shake off the 5 extra pounds that I gained over the holiday break. I can't walk.
There are few things that humble a man more than losing the ability to walk. I'm experiencing that right now. A few days ago, on our day-after Christmas shopping spree, I held Ryan(my 15 month old son) a bit too long, I suppose, because the next day I was experiencing some back pain. Christmas ramblings
I've been in North Carolina since Dec. 22. and we'll be staying until Jan. 1. We always hope to get some snow, but this year we will go home without seeing a flake. Chritmas Eve and Christmas were very nice as usual. This is the second year that I have spent my entire Christmas holiday in NC. Been a rough week at the office, but now I think I'm over the hump. We had a hard drive on the church server start dying, so I had to put the crisis management team into action. That's me! I had a meeting with myself and we came up with PLAN A. PLAN A was to get new hard drives and duplicate the old, failing drive onto a new drive. Sounds simple ( Read more... ) -
