Here it is Saturday again... already! The time sure flies and I wonder just what I've been doing for the last week. I know there were a few visits to doctors/dentists for Wendy as well as her mom. Not a lot of excitement going on in my life. The trip East a couple of weeks ago was the last adventure. Still get to ride the bike in this enjoyable weather. The trees should be changing into their Fall grandeur pretty soon. It's Sunday
You may or may not recall that last Sunday I was considering (yes, even dreaming of) a change of menu for the Sunday breakfast I usually prepare. Egg and cheese sandwiches on an English muffin had worn out their welcome in my book. Stepping outside to fetch the paper this morning brought me face to face with what portends to be a rather sticky and hot day. It's also smack in the middle of Labor Day Weekend which doesn't seem like such a big deal anymore. Just back from a trip to NJ visiting daughter, son-in-law and grandson. Trying to get caught up on all, doing laundry, cutting grass. etc. Will have more to post later. Life can be hectic at times! -

There hasn't been a whole lot of interesting happenings going on, not even any serendipitous events. There was one nice reconnecting with an old friend I hadn't seen in some time at a gathering the other night. That's always nice. Only the middle of August and already the garden is starting to die down. Global warming? Inattentive gardener? Just the way it's s'posed to be? :-)
