There used to be a long running joke with at least two of my ex girlfriends that rain sputtered down onto the Manhattan streets whenever I was around. I have to say this at complete random but people who spell stationery (as in paper) as stationary (which means not moving, standing, fixed and so forth) make me really wonder about education in America. I feel like he has burned a hole through my heart, gone right past the flesh and bone before it and simply left a hole there. The pain of his departure was enough to drive me to a deep, unwavering depression but his lack of compassion and understanding creates a completely different kind of pain.
