They fuck because that’s what they do, and Chad just pushed him against the wall when he tried to talk about it. They fuck on the floor, in the kitchen, on the couch and in the shower, and never once talk about what Jared wants to talk about.

He leaves, feeling hung over and groggy though he doesn’t remember drinking anything.

Wow, I'm just sort of... gobsmacked, I guess. This isn't a pairing I've ever taken remotely seriously, or a pairing it ever occurred to me I could take seriously, but, jesus god. I love how this is kind of harsh and kind of sad but still weirdly funny and weirdly real, how Hollywood everything is, bright and hard and sharp and fast, simultaneously fraught and meaningless, no end in sight and nothing to do but hold on. Just beautifully, beautifully done.

I've been waiting to reply to this for a couple of days now because I just didn't know how to say thank you enough. Such lovely, awesome words and they mean more than I can express with just a thank you.

I really think the thing that I love about this pairing is the fucked-upness that I see in them and the "boys being boys" aspect and it was such a joy to write them this way, an angsty, therapeutic sort of joy.

I really like this. This has an interesting flow and I like that it's sort of from Jared's pov. Great job. Hot and angsty without being too heavy. :)
