It's hard not to love and hate in equal measure when someone writes up ideas you'd only half-formed, stating them with greater clarity and insight than you probably would have, if you'd gotten so far as writing them down.

Unlike most artists I've met, who like to have some sort of background sound while they're working, I can't think at all while listening to music.
