Just found out that I am #24 on the waiting list for Campus Courts and #23 for Getz-Short. Campus Courts only has 12 1-bedroom apartments; Getz-Short has 24. *frustrated* It's not looking good. I may get into Getz-Short, but I doubt I'll get into Campus Courts for awhile ( Read more... )

I called Fred Meyer today and had them put the futon set I've had my eye on for awhile on hold. It's $50 off this week, so I figure I'll get it now and keep it in storage over the summer. My DAD, of all people, actually approves (mainly because it means he doesn't have to haul the futon 150 miles over the pass in his truck in the late summer/ ( Read more... )

OK, just made a knitting journal: it's snapdragon_knit, if anyone is interested. Don't feel like you have to add me; the whole point is to stop boring people who aren't interested. :-) I'm still going to post about major milestones here, but I'll only post the day-to-day nitty-gritty stuff in the knitting journal.

I am stuffed. Cas and I went to the Red Horse Drive-In for lunch, and the food was *sooooooo* good. (Thank you for buying lunch!) LOL, and she just called me from the store and had me look up an ingredient for her: mascarpone. It's a cheese, according to Google. :-)

Aaaaaaaagh. *strangles in general* Am tired. And very very hungry, but no time for food, not for another 4 1/2 hours. Blegh. Stupid tech writing summary that I have to finish before 3:00. Am not so worried though: I didn't think my last one was that good, but I still got an A. *shrug* Go figure. I guess I really am my own worst critic.

*kicks Flash drive* Anyone have any data recovery techniques up their sleeves, esp. for Flash drives? I've tried some data recovery programs, but nothing's worked yet...

I actually had REAL FOOD tonight. Real, cooked-in-an-oven food. The stuff that you don't put in a microwave or get in a dining hall. *wide-eyed* REAL FOOD. Cas brought me over to her and Al's house and fed me. :-D I can't spell it (ok, I can spell IT, but not the name of the recipe, har de har har to Al), but it was reeeeeeeally good. ( Read more... )
