R.E.M. announced that it broke up today. And as much as I have adored its music over the years, I can't say that I wish it weren't true. Ugh. Early deadlines are a total pain. I was half-zombified all damn day (with an increased workload staring me in the face to boot because one of the other sports guys was taking the day off).
