I just got tickets to see Erasure, Cyndi Lauper, Debbie Harry, and the Dresden Dolls on the True Colors Tour for the Human Rights Campaign.

We've got a pair of lawn tickets; they're a relatively decent $40/ea, while the seats run $65-120. $40 really isn't so bad considering exactly how many big groups are playing, though.

Yesterday: dinner with Quincy and eto_theipi, then dancing at Substance which was especially awesome because a) Quincy went with us, and b) we got in for $1/ea. Good fun.

This week's edition of This American Life (The Secret Life of Quiz Shows) features a story on the MIT mystery hunt. It's the second story; they're following team Dr.Awkward, who end up winning.

A bit "look at the socially incompetent nerds who finally found a group to express themselves with", but still. Cool.

After finally sending my mom off on Tuesday (Monday's flight was cancelled due to ice storms in the midwest; thankfully BEFORE we left for the airport) I'm back to work.

Noah, the multi-talented intern, did the awesome videos while Tim Anderson provided color commentary. Watch the videos- they're painfully funny. He did a fabulous job.

So we were playing Gloom with Uboat's mom and sister, trying to figure out who needs to be Menaced by Mice, Mauled by Manatees, Delighted by Ducklings, Startled by Snakes, or get some sort of Gorey-esque untimely death.
