It's a crazy busy week for me since I'm preparing for my trip to Washington this weekend. The Dalai Lama is speaking at the conference on Saturday evening, and I just found out they're only giving out 7,500 tickets, first-come, first-served ("only" meaning there are about 25,000 people at the conference). Well, it was my birthday on Halloween, and I finally hit 30. I'm having a hard time understanding why some people I know have flipped out over turning 30. It just felt like any other day to me!
