We have a place. It happened quickly; we took the third apartment we saw. It has beautiful hardwood floors downstairs -- perfect acoustics -- and an immense carpeted attic that's going to be the den/game room/music room/pillow-filled fun space. I've seen so many beautiful things and places over the last two weeks: the redwoods, the giant sequoias, the utah desert with its weird red rocky things. I've spent two days in Vegas. Roslyn is an inexplicable little town to the east of Seattle and in the middle of not much. Northern Exposure was filmed there; a bar called The Brick looked just as it did on television, and its patrons were as diverse: bikers, hippies, yuppie tourists, random locals.
