I think I might've just kicked ass on my Romantic Poetry midterm. :)

For the first time all semester, I'm thinking, "grad school, woohoo!"

It's just been kind of traumatic thus far -- til now, with a chance to prove myself academically. We'll see what happens.

I forget this fact sometimes. I just assume that my decisions and revisions and life-movements are my burden alone to bear. They are not. We are all interconnected, and my actions are as a pebble thrown into the water, ripples moving out all around as a result of the impact.

So many members of my graduating class, it seems, are headed off to medical school, law school, seminary, or grad school (for something pretentious that will pay off in the years to come, like accounting or business administration).
