YunHo’s eyes widened when he saw what JaeJoong had done and looked worried at the figure who had spoken to them. Quickly he sat down next JaeJoong but didn’t knelt for the figure because he had no idea what was going on now and if the figure was dangerous for them or not. He looked at JaeJoong’s face but didn’t saw a sign that he was scared or angry, he even seemed relieved to see the figure! “JaeJoong?” Whispered YunHo nervous and pressed himself closer against JaeJoong’s body. “Please, can we go now?” begged YunHo scared and watched the two other vampires who were still kneeling wary. But when JaeJoong didn’t responded to him and stayed where he was and with his face pointed at the ground, he was suddenly afraid that there was something very, very wrong because JaeJoong had never before ignored him, he always had responded to him but now he stayed silent. “Don’t be afraid of me boy” YunHo let out a startled cry when he heard how the person spoke to him and when he looked behind him, he saw that the person who had stopped the other two vampires was standing behind him! YunHo backed away from the man and grabbed JaeJoong’s arm, hoping that JaeJoong would stand up and that he would leave with him. The man sighed and looked at JaeJoong. “JaeJoong, do what you need to do and help you mate” said the man and did a step away from them, knowing full well why YunHo was so afraid for him.
JaeJoong responded immediately when the man had spoken and closed his arms around YunHo’s shaking body. “It’s okay now” soothed JaeJoong and looked grateful at his creator. The man nodded in response to JaeJoong and looked curious at YunHo. “Go home and do what is needed to help you mate, I come back to you house this night before sunrise and I will take Hyung Jun and Hyun Joong with me. But don’t worry about them, they will not tray to hurt you or your mate again” JaeJoong’s creator glared at the other two vampires before he looked back at JaeJoong. “Go home now.” JaeJoong nodded crateful to his creator and lifted the still shaking YunHo up in his arms and ran away from all the danger. While YunHo was in JaeJoong’s arms he had time to over think what just had happened and he clung to JaeJoong. There were a few things he remembered now and he thought about the man who had saved them, the man who had the power to let the three vampires kneel before him. He realized that the man was not Korean like himself and the three vampires, he spoke their language but he was from a other country, he was a westerner! And the second thing YunHo remembered was what one of the vampires who had attacked them had told him. JaeJoong was in danger and he could save him, he a normal human could save a vampire? The two vampires wanted him death so that JaeJoong would be cured… YunHo clung tighter to JaeJoong and was afraid for what would happen next. He was afraid that the other two vampires would come back again and that they would force JaeJoong to kill him or if JaeJoong refused that they would kill him themselves. But otherwise, he was afraid for what would happen if he didn’t died, was JaeJoong really in danger? And what would happen with JaeJoong when he stayed alive? YunHo really understood nothing of the situation, he knew that it has something to do with a curse, but that was all what he knew and no he had heard that he needed to die, he needed to die so that JaeJoong would be saved!
A few minutes later JaeJoong entered the house while he still carried YunHo and closed the door behind him. He sat down on the couch and held YunHo closer against his chest. YunHo felt how JaeJoong gently rubbed his back, trying to comfort him. “Don’t be afraid anymore, my creator is here and he will not tolerate the behaviors from my brothers. He will punish them and you will be safe from now on.” YunHo looked up at JaeJoong and stared at his face, confused and still very scared. He wanted to know what just had happened and who those vampires were, but he was afraid to ask and still not so sure if JaeJoong would answer him because he had been holding back information about himself and the bond between them from the beginning. Yes, JaeJoong had told him something about himself and he had explained him some other things and he really had won YunHo’s trust, but he still was not sure if JaeJoong would explain to him what just had happened. He also was afraid for JaeJoong’s answer, because if he really needed to die then he was not sure if he wanted to know it. “Please hold me and don’t let go of me” said YunHo and didn’t asked one of his questions, he didn’t wanted to think about it, not now. He only wanted JaeJoong’s attention at the moment and nothing more. JaeJoong didn’t answered him or talked to him, he only held YunHo’s body closer against his and slowly, very slowly relaxed YunHo. He felt safe again now that he felt JaeJoong’s warm embrace.
YunHo did not know for how long he had stayed in JaeJoong’s arms, he had lost his since of time while he was with JaeJoong, every day seemed endless and the fact that JaeJoong didn’t moved or breathed, and that he even didn’t heard a heartbeat while he learned against his chest, was strangely peacefully and it calmed him. JaeJoong didn’t moved while he sat still with YunHo in his arms and waited for YunHo until he was ready to speak or to ask the questions he wanted JaeJoong to answer. And when YunHo eventually looked up and saw how long he had stayed in JaeJoong’s arms he felt alarmed, he had lain in JaeJoong’s arms for almost two hours! “How are you feeling?” YunHo looked up at JaeJoong and saw that the vampire was really worried for his welfare and that he wanted to help YunHo. Quickly he avoided JaeJoong’s gaze and knew that he needed to ask the most important question he had and that he was a coward if he would avoid it to talk with JaeJoong any longer. Nervously he fumbled with his fingers on his shirt and gathered all his courage to speak.
“Why were those vampires here? And is it true? Do you need to sacrifice me so that you can erase the curse? Am I here only for that… Have you taken me away from my home so that you could kill me later?” YunHo didn’t realized that he cried until he felt how JaeJoong wiped his tears away with his shirt but it was useless, he now started to cry even harder. The thought that JaeJoong only wanted him so that he could kill him later was making him angry, scared and sad. But there was one thing YunHo didn’t understand, why tried JaeJoong to safe him if he needed to kill him? Had JaeJoong chanced his plans and didn’t wanted JaeJoong to stick to his plan…? “No! of course not! I never wanted to kill you and I have not brought you here for that reason! I didn’t knew that my brothers wanted to do this to you and if I had knew it beforehand then I would have hide you so that nobody could harm you! YunHo, please believe me okay?!” JaeJoong grabbed both YunHo’s hands and looked pained at him. “YunHo… The reason why I have made you mine was not because I wanted to kill you… I… I need you help and I need you alive. I will be in danger in a few weeks, my vampire strengths will disappear exactly on the moment when It’s my vampire birthday. When I’m exactly hundred years old in vampire years then I will be almost death again. I need to drink human blood and the blood of a mate is stronger than any other human blood. I want you to take care of me until I’m strong enough to do it for myself. There are a few more things but it was never my intention to hurt or harm you, and I will not accept it that somebody else would harm you! Please YunHo, believe what I’m telling you now!” YunHo stared as in a daze at JaeJoong and knew that the vampire had told the truth, he could see it by the look in JaeJoong’s eyes and he had heard how JaeJoong’s voice had trembled. And now that YunHo had heard a little more about the curse and the reason why JaeJoong had made him his he felt a little more calmer. He was relieved that JaeJoong didn’t wanted to hurt him after al and he felt guilty that he had thought the worst of JaeJoong.
“I’m sorry for not believing you” cried YunHo and hide his face in JaeJoong’s arms. “I’m so sorry” muttered YunHo for the second time and cried harder. The stress he had felt end all the fear from the past few hours were back and he needed to cry and he wanted JaeJoong to be with him! “It’s not your fault” responded JaeJoong immediately and tried to soothe YunHo. When YunHo had calmed down a little he looked up at JaeJoong and he saw a look of love in the eyes from the vampire. At first YunHo thought that he was seeing things but when JaeJoong didn’t looked away from him and even smiled at him, he knew that he was right and that the vampire loved him… “J- JaeJoong? Why are you looking at me like that?” YunHo felt how his cheeks colored and he shifted nervously back and forth on the couch. JaeJoong didn’t answered him and stared still lovingly at him. YunHo was not sure what he needed to do now, was JaeJoong really in love with him and waited he for YunHo until he was ready? YunHo wondered if he was in love with YunHo and he remembered his conversation with YooChun before he had left his home with JaeJoong. He had told YooChun that he had liked JaeJoong when he had saw him for the first time in the shop but now, when he thought about it he was not sure if he could answer JaeJoong’s love and if he even wanted to be in love with him, he was after all a vampire. But as soon as he realized that he had these thoughts he knew he was fooling himself. He only had not realized it until now.
YunHo thought about the moments when he was together with JaeJoong and how safe he had felt at those moments, he also remembered the moments that JaeJoong had left him and how disappointed he had been, how he had wished that JaeJoong was still besides him. He remembered clearly how he had felt when he had thought that JaeJoong only had used him for his own purpose and that he had took YunHo away from his home only to kill him later, and that he only was still living because JaeJoong had changed his plans, he had felt so sad and heartbroken at that moment! And just then, when he had thought about his feelings he realized that he really was in love with JaeJoong. But now that he had realized that he had feelings for JaeJoong he was a little nervous because he didn’t knew what JaeJoong expected from him, he had never before been in love with somebody like he was now with JaeJoong and he was not sure if he was ready to give JaeJoong his virginity so soon… It was not like YunHo didn’t wanted to be intimate with JaeJoong but he had no experiences in having a boyfriend and he was a little nervous about it. Shyly he looked up at JaeJoong and saw that the vampire still watched him with the same lovingly expression on his face. He saw that JaeJoong was still waiting for him and that he expected that he would say something to JaeJoong, but… YunHo was not brave enough to talk to JaeJoong, not now that he had seen so much in the past few hours and he needed to over think this whole situation. “I… I need…” YunHo stopped mid-sentence, not knowing what to say and ran away from JaeJoong and hide upstairs in the empty room where he knew that he would be alone without JaeJoong to talk to, JaeJoong had promised him to not enter and he believed that JaeJoong would stick to his promise. He only had made no agreement about the hallway and the space before the room, in the doorway and he didn’t thought about that at that moment.
YunHo had saw how sad JaeJoong had looked when he had ran away but he really needed to be alone and he was afraid to be with JaeJoong, afraid to talk with JaeJoong. If JaeJoong had been a normal human then he had hot hesitated and had given JaeJoong his love, but JaeJoong was not human, he was a vampire and he had lived much longer than YunHo had and he was more experienced than he was. YunHo was afraid that he was not good enough for JaeJoong and that he would be a burden to the vampire when JaeJoong had realized his fault. YunHo was not special, he was not especially good at something and he was not brave or extremely smart like some other guys he had knew and he was sure that JaeJoong would get bored with YunHo.
YunHo shivered and wished that he had brought some pillows with him to sit on because the floor was hard and cold and there was nothing else in the room to sit or lie on. But he didn’t wanted to leave the room to search for something to sit on, afraid to see JaeJoong and that he needed to talk with JaeJoong. JaeJoong had saw YunHo’s reaction and he was sure that he wanted to talk with YunHo about it, he wanted to talk about his reaction before he he had left him and he was worried that JaeJoong would talk with him about what had happened a few minutes before, but he was not ready for it. How could he talk with JaeJoong about his feelings if he himself even didn’t understand it? But YunHo had no luck this time because JaeJoong called softly for him. “YunHo, don’t hide for me” said JaeJoong and he stopped in the doorway but didn’t entered the room, respecting YunHo’s wish to have this room for his own and without his vampire presence. JaeJoong sat down on the floor bore the room and faced YunHo. “I’m sorry if I have made you feel uncomfortable YunHo, that was not my intention.” JaeJoong had spoke friendly to him and his voice had sounded calm and YunHo noted that JaeJoong really wanted to help him, but he also saw that JaeJoong had still the same, lovingly look in his eyes when he looked at YunHo and he didn’t tried to hide it for him, YunHo realized that JaeJoong wanted him to see it! YunHo swallowed and looked at JaeJoong from the corner of his eyes and wondered what JaeJoong wanted to do next. “What is going to happen now? Are you brothers gone and will they never come back?” YunHo tried to concentrate on other things than his feelings for JaeJoong and hoped that he could talk later with JaeJoong about it. He also knew that his feelings were less important than the happenings from tonight.
His plan worked and JaeJoong didn’t spoke to him about what just had happened. “My creator is here and he will bring my brothers here before sunrise so that they could apologize to us.” YunHo stared shocked at JaeJoong and felt afraid again. “No, I… I don’t want to see them again! Please JaeJoong, don’t let them come near me again!” Begged YunHo desperate and listened if he could hear somebody downstairs, afraid that they would be already inside the house. “YunHo… You don’t need to feel afraid anymore, or creator is here and he will not accept it that my brothers would misbehave themselves again.” YunHo shook his head stubborn and didn’t wanted to see them again, he found it difficult to trust a strange vampire after what just had happened, JaeJoong was the only vampire he trusted now and he had no intention to meet more vampires, if JaeJoong wanted him to see his brothers again then he needed to force YunHo to do it! YunHo folded his arms stubborn and looked away from JaeJoong. YunHo had suspected that JaeJoong would try to get him out of the room so that he could chance his decision but JaeJoong didn’t what he expected from him, JaeJoong said noting and sat there in silence, he was still watching YunHo but he didn’t tried to talk with him, YunHo was relieved and thankful for that.
But when YunHo had sat for a few minutes he realized that this was not what he wanted, the floor was cold and hard and the only person who could warm him up was sitting a few meters away from him, waiting for him and respecting his choice to be alone in this room. But he was too ashamed for his own actions and behavior toward JaeJoong to leave the room and to stay with JaeJoong, he had simply not the guts to do it.

JaeJoong was irritated with himself, he saw that YunHo was not okay but he didn’t knew exactly what was wrong with his mate. He knew that YunHo was confused with his own feelings and if he had the time he would have waited until YunHo was ready but it was important for YunHo to learn more and to accept his feelings, especially after what just had happened. Their bond was already strong, but still not strong enough and he was afraid that more of his blood relatives would try to break the bond between him and YunHo. But what was bothering JaeJoong the most was that he didn’t knew where YunHo was thinking about and how strong his fears for JaeJoong’s brothers were. It would be bad if YunHo would be afraid for the other vampires, not when he was JaeJoong’s mate and JaeJoong had vampire friends from over the whole world who all wanted to meet YunHo if they had heard the news that JaeJoong had found his own mate. JaeJoong saw that YunHo was shivering and he knew that this was not a good place for YunHo, not know. He wanted to comfort YunHo, he wanted to hold him and he wanted to tell YunHo that he loved him, but he was afraid that he would push YunHo too much if he would do that, so he did nothing. He stayed where he was, sitting on the floor and he stared at YunHo. He wished that he was stronger so that he could read YunHo’s mind, everything would be easier that way. But he had not much time anymore, in a few weeks would he be exactly hundred years old and he hoped that YunHo would be ready when he needed him the most.

JaeJoong stopped and turned himself back to YunHo and sat down again. “What can I do for you?” JaeJoong was relieved that YunHo had spoken to him again and took his chance to talk with YunHo. But YunHo didn’t talked to him, he ran toward JaeJoong and flew into his arms! “I’m sorry” whispered YunHo and sniffed softly. “Don’t worry about it, but please remember that I need you when I will turn hundred within a few weeks.” JaeJoong felt how YunHo’s body stiffened under his embrace and he heard how YunHo’s heartbeat quickened. JaeJoong wondered worried why it was so difficult for YunHo to accept it that he was in love with JaeJoong, he knew that YunHo had feelings for him, it was impossible for YunHo to not love him but each time he wanted to talk with YunHo about it or when he saw that YunHo wanted to ask of say something to him, he saw that he hesitated, as if he was still not sure about his feelings. JaeJoong knew that YunHo had just turned eighteen when he had taken YunHo with him and he had assumed that YunHo would be ready for it, but he realized now that he had been wrong.
Now that he held YunHo’s body in his arms he wondered if YunHo was hesitant because JaeJoong was his first real love and he wondered if YunHo simply didn’t knew how he needed to handle this situation, maybe was he still too inexperienced to know what JaeJoong wanted from him or what his own feelings were telling him. Without explaining his actions to YunHo he lifted him up in his arms and carried YunHo to his own bedroom. “JaeJoong, what are you doing?” YunHo sounded unsure and a little afraid because he was probably still afraid that his brothers would return at any moment. JaeJoong sat down on the bed and pulled YunHo closer against his own body, still on his lap. JaeJoong wanted to talk seriously with YunHo, he knew that YunHo wanted to avoid this but it was important for both of them to know what was happening, JaeJoong needed to be honest to YunHo. At first he had hoped that YunHo would realize his feelings for JaeJoong on his own but JaeJoong now knew that that would not happen very soon. He saw that YunHo was worried and very nervous at the moment and again wished JaeJoong that he was strong again so that he could read YunHo’s mind and could comfort him. “It’s time to talk” said JaeJoong and saw how YunHo visibly paled. “No, can we do this later?” asked YunHo and tried to stand up but JaeJoong closed his arms around YunHo’s smaller body and prevented him from standing up.
JaeJoong didn’t liked it to see YunHo so uncomfortable but he had made his decision and he would not tolerate it that YunHo would leave him again before they had talked, he was the vampire after all and the vampire was the master, even if he didn’t saw himself like YunHo’s master and he hated it to force him to do something. But still, he was the one who had the final words. “YunHo, please listen to me and try to answer me honest” JaeJoong looked away from YunHo, hoping that he would feel a little more comfortable knowing that JaeJoong wasn’t watching him and took YunHo’s hand in his. “I have told you before that you would change now that I have made you my mate but I haven’t told you everything about it because I had hoped that you would discover it for yourself.” JaeJoong paused for a few seconds and gave YunHo the time to over think what JaeJoong was trying to tell him. But when YunHo didn’t responded to him and stayed silent he glanced quickly at YunHo. “You will fall in love with me YunHo, it is impossible for a human to not love the vampire who has bitten him or her and I will love you in return.” JaeJoong waited again a few seconds for YunHo to respond to him but again he said nothing. JaeJoong saw how YunHo looked shocked at him, his eyes widened and he heard how YunHo’s heartbeat quickened again. He saw that YunHo’s face colored and that he looked away from JaeJoong. But JaeJoong didn’t needed to hear from YunHo that he was right and that YunHo was loving him, his actions were speaking for him, the fact that YunHo tried to avoid JaeJoong was proof enough that he really had feelings for JaeJoong.
“And now that have been honest to you I hope that you will be honest to me too… YunHo, I have noted that you are hesitant and unsure about your feelings and I hope that you can tell me why because if I knew why you’re hesitating I can help you. YunHo, is this the first time for you to be in love with someone? Are you hesitating because you don’t know what would happen and what you need to do? Are you afraid because you’re inexperienced?” YunHo’s face was now totally flushed and he tried to pull his hands away from JaeJoong but he grabbed YunHo’s hands tighter. “YunHo? Please answer me.” JaeJoong hated it to push YunHo like this and he knew that YunHo was feeling uncomfortable but he needed to do this, YunHo would eventually understand it and he will accept it. “YunHo?” JaeJoong traced with his finger over YunHo’s hand and saw that both his hands were shaking. “Don’t be ashamed and talk with me YunHo, I love you and I want you to love me back” said JaeJoong when YunHo still hasn’t responded to him. He saw that YunHo looked startled at him when he had said that he loved YunHo and licked his lips nervously. “I- I… Yes… I have never before been in love with somebody because… I like men but… My best friend YooChun is the only one who I have told it… I have no experiences and if he had the choice I would have waited until…” YunHo stopped and avoided JaeJoong’s gaze. “Please, can I go now?” YunHo shifted nervously back and forth and looked at the door. But this time was JaeJoong the one who didn’t answered YunHo, he stared at his mate and felt sorry for him. If he had known that YunHo was still unsure about his feelings and that he even didn’t had told his parents about his sexuality he had waited for him until he was ready. But he had no time, in a few weeks he needed the support from YunHo… But there was now no way back and the only thing he could do was help YunHo to adjust to his new life and he could help YunHo to explore his feelings, if he still wanted JaeJoong’s help.

YunHo did not know for how long he had stayed in JaeJoong’s arms, he had lost his since of time while he was with JaeJoong, every day seemed endless and the fact that JaeJoong didn’t moved or breathed, and that he even didn’t heard a heartbeat while he learned against his chest, was strangely peacefully and it calmed him. JaeJoong didn’t moved while he sat still with YunHo in his arms and waited for YunHo until he was ready to speak or to ask the questions he wanted JaeJoong to answer. And when YunHo eventually looked up and saw how long he had stayed in JaeJoong’s arms he felt alarmed, he had lain in JaeJoong’s arms for almost two hours! “How are you feeling?” YunHo looked up at JaeJoong and saw that the vampire was really worried for his welfare and that he wanted to help YunHo. Quickly he avoided JaeJoong’s gaze and knew that he needed to ask the most important question he had and that he was a coward if he would avoid it to talk with JaeJoong any longer. Nervously he fumbled with his fingers on his shirt and gathered all his courage to speak.
“Why were those vampires here? And is it true? Do you need to sacrifice me so that you can erase the curse? Am I here only for that… Have you taken me away from my home so that you could kill me later?” YunHo didn’t realized that he cried until he felt how JaeJoong wiped his tears away with his shirt but it was useless, he now started to cry even harder. The thought that JaeJoong only wanted him so that he could kill him later was making him angry, scared and sad. But there was one thing YunHo didn’t understand, why tried JaeJoong to safe him if he needed to kill him? Had JaeJoong chanced his plans and didn’t wanted JaeJoong to stick to his plan…? “No! of course not! I never wanted to kill you and I have not brought you here for that reason! I didn’t knew that my brothers wanted to do this to you and if I had knew it beforehand then I would have hide you so that nobody could harm you! YunHo, please believe me okay?!” JaeJoong grabbed both YunHo’s hands and looked pained at him. “YunHo… The reason why I have made you mine was not because I wanted to kill you… I… I need you help and I need you alive. I will be in danger in a few weeks, my vampire strengths will disappear exactly on the moment when It’s my vampire birthday. When I’m exactly hundred years old in vampire years then I will be almost death again. I need to drink human blood and the blood of a mate is stronger than any other human blood. I want you to take care of me until I’m strong enough to do it for myself. There are a few more things but it was never my intention to hurt or harm you, and I will not accept it that somebody else would harm you! Please YunHo, believe what I’m telling you now!” YunHo stared as in a daze at JaeJoong and knew that the vampire had told the truth, he could see it by the look in JaeJoong’s eyes and he had heard how JaeJoong’s voice had trembled. And now that YunHo had heard a little more about the curse and the reason why JaeJoong had made him his he felt a little more calmer. He was relieved that JaeJoong didn’t wanted to hurt him after al and he felt guilty that he had thought the worst of JaeJoong.
“I’m sorry for not believing you” cried YunHo and hide his face in JaeJoong’s arms. “I’m so sorry” muttered YunHo for the second time and cried harder. The stress he had felt end all the fear from the past few hours were back and he needed to cry and he wanted JaeJoong to be with him! “It’s not your fault” responded JaeJoong immediately and tried to soothe YunHo. When YunHo had calmed down a little he looked up at JaeJoong and he saw a look of love in the eyes from the vampire. At first YunHo thought that he was seeing things but when JaeJoong didn’t looked away from him and even smiled at him, he knew that he was right and that the vampire loved him… “J- JaeJoong? Why are you looking at me like that?” YunHo felt how his cheeks colored and he shifted nervously back and forth on the couch. JaeJoong didn’t answered him and stared still lovingly at him. YunHo was not sure what he needed to do now, was JaeJoong really in love with him and waited he for YunHo until he was ready? YunHo wondered if he was in love with YunHo and he remembered his conversation with YooChun before he had left his home with JaeJoong. He had told YooChun that he had liked JaeJoong when he had saw him for the first time in the shop but now, when he thought about it he was not sure if he could answer JaeJoong’s love and if he even wanted to be in love with him, he was after all a vampire. But as soon as he realized that he had these thoughts he knew he was fooling himself. He only had not realized it until now.
YunHo thought about the moments when he was together with JaeJoong and how safe he had felt at those moments, he also remembered the moments that JaeJoong had left him and how disappointed he had been, how he had wished that JaeJoong was still besides him. He remembered clearly how he had felt when he had thought that JaeJoong only had used him for his own purpose and that he had took YunHo away from his home only to kill him later, and that he only was still living because JaeJoong had changed his plans, he had felt so sad and heartbroken at that moment! And just then, when he had thought about his feelings he realized that he really was in love with JaeJoong. But now that he had realized that he had feelings for JaeJoong he was a little nervous because he didn’t knew what JaeJoong expected from him, he had never before been in love with somebody like he was now with JaeJoong and he was not sure if he was ready to give JaeJoong his virginity so soon… It was not like YunHo didn’t wanted to be intimate with JaeJoong but he had no experiences in having a boyfriend and he was a little nervous about it. Shyly he looked up at JaeJoong and saw that the vampire still watched him with the same lovingly expression on his face. He saw that JaeJoong was still waiting for him and that he expected that he would say something to JaeJoong, but… YunHo was not brave enough to talk to JaeJoong, not now that he had seen so much in the past few hours and he needed to over think this whole situation. “I… I need…” YunHo stopped mid-sentence, not knowing what to say and ran away from JaeJoong and hide upstairs in the empty room where he knew that he would be alone without JaeJoong to talk to, JaeJoong had promised him to not enter and he believed that JaeJoong would stick to his promise. He only had made no agreement about the hallway and the space before the room, in the doorway and he didn’t thought about that at that moment.
YunHo had saw how sad JaeJoong had looked when he had ran away but he really needed to be alone and he was afraid to be with JaeJoong, afraid to talk with JaeJoong. If JaeJoong had been a normal human then he had hot hesitated and had given JaeJoong his love, but JaeJoong was not human, he was a vampire and he had lived much longer than YunHo had and he was more experienced than he was. YunHo was afraid that he was not good enough for JaeJoong and that he would be a burden to the vampire when JaeJoong had realized his fault. YunHo was not special, he was not especially good at something and he was not brave or extremely smart like some other guys he had knew and he was sure that JaeJoong would get bored with YunHo.
YunHo shivered and wished that he had brought some pillows with him to sit on because the floor was hard and cold and there was nothing else in the room to sit or lie on. But he didn’t wanted to leave the room to search for something to sit on, afraid to see JaeJoong and that he needed to talk with JaeJoong. JaeJoong had saw YunHo’s reaction and he was sure that he wanted to talk with YunHo about it, he wanted to talk about his reaction before he he had left him and he was worried that JaeJoong would talk with him about what had happened a few minutes before, but he was not ready for it. How could he talk with JaeJoong about his feelings if he himself even didn’t understand it? But YunHo had no luck this time because JaeJoong called softly for him. “YunHo, don’t hide for me” said JaeJoong and he stopped in the doorway but didn’t entered the room, respecting YunHo’s wish to have this room for his own and without his vampire presence. JaeJoong sat down on the floor bore the room and faced YunHo. “I’m sorry if I have made you feel uncomfortable YunHo, that was not my intention.” JaeJoong had spoke friendly to him and his voice had sounded calm and YunHo noted that JaeJoong really wanted to help him, but he also saw that JaeJoong had still the same, lovingly look in his eyes when he looked at YunHo and he didn’t tried to hide it for him, YunHo realized that JaeJoong wanted him to see it! YunHo swallowed and looked at JaeJoong from the corner of his eyes and wondered what JaeJoong wanted to do next. “What is going to happen now? Are you brothers gone and will they never come back?” YunHo tried to concentrate on other things than his feelings for JaeJoong and hoped that he could talk later with JaeJoong about it. He also knew that his feelings were less important than the happenings from tonight.
His plan worked and JaeJoong didn’t spoke to him about what just had happened. “My creator is here and he will bring my brothers here before sunrise so that they could apologize to us.” YunHo stared shocked at JaeJoong and felt afraid again. “No, I… I don’t want to see them again! Please JaeJoong, don’t let them come near me again!” Begged YunHo desperate and listened if he could hear somebody downstairs, afraid that they would be already inside the house. “YunHo… You don’t need to feel afraid anymore, or creator is here and he will not accept it that my brothers would misbehave themselves again.” YunHo shook his head stubborn and didn’t wanted to see them again, he found it difficult to trust a strange vampire after what just had happened, JaeJoong was the only vampire he trusted now and he had no intention to meet more vampires, if JaeJoong wanted him to see his brothers again then he needed to force YunHo to do it! YunHo folded his arms stubborn and looked away from JaeJoong. YunHo had suspected that JaeJoong would try to get him out of the room so that he could chance his decision but JaeJoong didn’t what he expected from him, JaeJoong said noting and sat there in silence, he was still watching YunHo but he didn’t tried to talk with him, YunHo was relieved and thankful for that.
But when YunHo had sat for a few minutes he realized that this was not what he wanted, the floor was cold and hard and the only person who could warm him up was sitting a few meters away from him, waiting for him and respecting his choice to be alone in this room. But he was too ashamed for his own actions and behavior toward JaeJoong to leave the room and to stay with JaeJoong, he had simply not the guts to do it.
JaeJoong
JaeJoong was irritated with himself, he saw that YunHo was not okay but he didn’t knew exactly what was wrong with his mate. He knew that YunHo was confused with his own feelings and if he had the time he would have waited until YunHo was ready but it was important for YunHo to learn more and to accept his feelings, especially after what just had happened. Their bond was already strong, but still not strong enough and he was afraid that more of his blood relatives would try to break the bond between him and YunHo. But what was bothering JaeJoong the most was that he didn’t knew where YunHo was thinking about and how strong his fears for JaeJoong’s brothers were. It would be bad if YunHo would be afraid for the other vampires, not when he was JaeJoong’s mate and JaeJoong had vampire friends from over the whole world who all wanted to meet YunHo if they had heard the news that JaeJoong had found his own mate. JaeJoong saw that YunHo was shivering and he knew that this was not a good place for YunHo, not know. He wanted to comfort YunHo, he wanted to hold him and he wanted to tell YunHo that he loved him, but he was afraid that he would push YunHo too much if he would do that, so he did nothing. He stayed where he was, sitting on the floor and he stared at YunHo. He wished that he was stronger so that he could read YunHo’s mind, everything would be easier that way. But he had not much time anymore, in a few weeks would he be exactly hundred years old and he hoped that YunHo would be ready when he needed him the most.
But just when JaeJoong had decided to bring YunHo something to sit on and a warm blanked he heard how YunHo called him. JaeJoong stopped and turned himself back to YunHo and sat down again. “What can I do for you?” JaeJoong was relieved that YunHo had spoken to him again and took his chance to talk with YunHo. But YunHo didn’t talked to him, he ran toward JaeJoong and flew into his arms! “I’m sorry” whispered YunHo and sniffed softly. “Don’t worry about it, but please remember that I need you when I will turn hundred within a few weeks.” JaeJoong felt how YunHo’s body stiffened under his embrace and he heard how YunHo’s heartbeat quickened. JaeJoong wondered worried why it was so difficult for YunHo to accept it that he was in love with JaeJoong, he knew that YunHo had feelings for him, it was impossible for YunHo to not love him but each time he wanted to talk with YunHo about it or when he saw that YunHo wanted to ask of say something to him, he saw that he hesitated, as if he was still not sure about his feelings. JaeJoong knew that YunHo had just turned eighteen when he had taken YunHo with him and he had assumed that YunHo would be ready for it, but he realized now that he had been wrong.
Now that he held YunHo’s body in his arms he wondered if YunHo was hesitant because JaeJoong was his first real love and he wondered if YunHo simply didn’t knew how he needed to handle this situation, maybe was he still too inexperienced to know what JaeJoong wanted from him or what his own feelings were telling him. Without explaining his actions to YunHo he lifted him up in his arms and carried YunHo to his own bedroom. “JaeJoong, what are you doing?” YunHo sounded unsure and a little afraid because he was probably still afraid that his brothers would return at any moment. JaeJoong sat down on the bed and pulled YunHo closer against his own body, still on his lap. JaeJoong wanted to talk seriously with YunHo, he knew that YunHo wanted to avoid this but it was important for both of them to know what was happening, JaeJoong needed to be honest to YunHo. At first he had hoped that YunHo would realize his feelings for JaeJoong on his own but JaeJoong now knew that that would not happen very soon. He saw that YunHo was worried and very nervous at the moment and again wished JaeJoong that he was strong again so that he could read YunHo’s mind and could comfort him. “It’s time to talk” said JaeJoong and saw how YunHo visibly paled. “No, can we do this later?” asked YunHo and tried to stand up but JaeJoong closed his arms around YunHo’s smaller body and prevented him from standing up.
JaeJoong didn’t liked it to see YunHo so uncomfortable but he had made his decision and he would not tolerate it that YunHo would leave him again before they had talked, he was the vampire after all and the vampire was the master, even if he didn’t saw himself like YunHo’s master and he hated it to force him to do something. But still, he was the one who had the final words. “YunHo, please listen to me and try to answer me honest” JaeJoong looked away from YunHo, hoping that he would feel a little more comfortable knowing that JaeJoong wasn’t watching him and took YunHo’s hand in his. “I have told you before that you would change now that I have made you my mate but I haven’t told you everything about it because I had hoped that you would discover it for yourself.” JaeJoong paused for a few seconds and gave YunHo the time to over think what JaeJoong was trying to tell him. But when YunHo didn’t responded to him and stayed silent he glanced quickly at YunHo. “You will fall in love with me YunHo, it is impossible for a human to not love the vampire who has bitten him or her and I will love you in return.” JaeJoong waited again a few seconds for YunHo to respond to him but again he said nothing. JaeJoong saw how YunHo looked shocked at him, his eyes widened and he heard how YunHo’s heartbeat quickened again. He saw that YunHo’s face colored and that he looked away from JaeJoong. But JaeJoong didn’t needed to hear from YunHo that he was right and that YunHo was loving him, his actions were speaking for him, the fact that YunHo tried to avoid JaeJoong was proof enough that he really had feelings for JaeJoong.
“And now that have been honest to you I hope that you will be honest to me too… YunHo, I have noted that you are hesitant and unsure about your feelings and I hope that you can tell me why because if I knew why you’re hesitating I can help you. YunHo, is this the first time for you to be in love with someone? Are you hesitating because you don’t know what would happen and what you need to do? Are you afraid because you’re inexperienced?” YunHo’s face was now totally flushed and he tried to pull his hands away from JaeJoong but he grabbed YunHo’s hands tighter. “YunHo? Please answer me.” JaeJoong hated it to push YunHo like this and he knew that YunHo was feeling uncomfortable but he needed to do this, YunHo would eventually understand it and he will accept it. “YunHo?” JaeJoong traced with his finger over YunHo’s hand and saw that both his hands were shaking. “Don’t be ashamed and talk with me YunHo, I love you and I want you to love me back” said JaeJoong when YunHo still hasn’t responded to him. He saw that YunHo looked startled at him when he had said that he loved YunHo and licked his lips nervously. “I- I… Yes… I have never before been in love with somebody because… I like men but… My best friend YooChun is the only one who I have told it… I have no experiences and if he had the choice I would have waited until…” YunHo stopped and avoided JaeJoong’s gaze. “Please, can I go now?” YunHo shifted nervously back and forth and looked at the door. But this time was JaeJoong the one who didn’t answered YunHo, he stared at his mate and felt sorry for him. If he had known that YunHo was still unsure about his feelings and that he even didn’t had told his parents about his sexuality he had waited for him until he was ready. But he had no time, in a few weeks he needed the support from YunHo… But there was now no way back and the only thing he could do was help YunHo to adjust to his new life and he could help YunHo to explore his feelings, if he still wanted JaeJoong’s help.
