My clothes are not looking well.  I suppose I am much better off than most of the people in this city, but I have a bit of a threadbare patch at the bottom of my right sleeve.  Fortunately for me I suppose, the previous proprietress of this teahouse had quite a large collection of kimono that has been left behind.  None of it is quite as elegant as ( Read more... )

Well well, my teahouse is turning out to be quite the crowded place.

I was able to get something accomplished today.  The rain is actually a help to me.  And I think I've figured out how to secure my journal.

I found a dish in the back room.  I've left it outside to collect the rain, and it should be full soon.  With the proper spells, it should be a very serviceable water mirror.

There's a bar here.  There is something wrong with the back of it, but the man who runs it has enough sense to ask me if I want my sake warmed.

It' s a curious thing that I'm willing to put the fact that he is hiding something on the back burner in order to get something to drink.

Maya's friend Phoenix came to collect her.  Well, he says to call him Nick.  It's a weight off my mind to see that young girl taken care of.  He might not look too sturdy, but Nick has a good, strong heart I think.  Perhaps in a place like this, will is more important than physical strength ( Read more... )
