This past Wednesday I had my final post-op appointment. The nurse said I looked good and that my recovery should continue nicely. I only had one concern to address, and that was the little fold that's appeared under my nipples. He said that should smooth out as I continue to heal. It's been two weeks since surgery, and recovery is coming along nicely. Sensation is starting to come back in my chest but it's still a little numb. I can also feel my muscles more, which is painful at times (especially if I move the wrong way). I ran into someone I used to know yesterday during work, someone who knew me when I was Nancy. I knew she looked familiar, but I couldn’t place her at the time. So, it is here. Not in any large quantity, no, but it is noticeable. I haven't shaved in five or six days, and there is visible hair on my face. It's mostly concentrated on my chin, with the left side being slightly hairier than the right, and if you look real hard you can see the beginnings of a soul patch.
