Before the trip to Florida to visit my grandparents, I was a bit worried about being Nancy again and trying to explain away anything Nate-related which they noticed. Thankfully, my worries turned out to be baseless as they still love me just fine even though I have a different name and will look a little different eventually.

So, news! I had an appointment with Dr. Famula in the month before I left for Costa Rica, and we had agreed to wait to do anything until after I came back. Didn't want to risk anything in a foreign country (though Costa Rica does have good health care); besides, my parents would definitely be more comfortable this way.
