Brave New World is so twistedly amazing! I found some parts genuinely disturbing, like how the Baby Factory restricts the blood flow and injects alcohol pre-nataly to stunt some babies and make them semi-morons.  The way the Controllers ration a heroin-like opiate to subdue the masses.  It seems so repugnant, so horrible, even gruesome in a mad ( Read more... )

I GOT A JOB!   This job was ordained by fate, the ONE time I answer my mom's phone it's her friend who invites me to go to an interview with her. Where I bag 10 bucks an hour working for EMT Alert, a telemarketing company.  Yes!  Yes!  Yes!  I'm so tired of being busted broke!
