Remember Calamitycrow (morgans_rangers)? The fan writer who took down her fic because she was disappointed in fandom (aka she felt too many people on her LJ friendlist were spn blindfold supporters aka pedophiles). Of course, there’s tacky and then there’s weird…as in this thread where she pretends she is not calamity crow while offering yet a different reason for why “calamitycrow” took down “her” fic: http://saraid.livejournal.com/74822.html (“I have already offered calamitycrow's email address....the reason calamitycrow took down her own download site is because you and other people keep doing this - taking her stuff and putting them on other sites without asking permission.”). But in today’s morgans rangers goodbye post she finally signed ‘calamitycrow’ so I think her identity crises has been resolved. She and morgans rangers and the cat are all one. Om mani padme hum....

Avengers Xover BB

Because we don't talk about it enough, The Avengers fandom is having a lot of action (like any new fandom) and many people in SPN fandom is into Loki/Thor and Clint/Natasha I think this BB is great news.

avengers_xbb I don't know if it allows RPS but if it does I'd like a Jared/Chris threesome fic and if it doesn't I'd be happy with Sam/Thor and Natasha/Lisa.

Summary: Prince Christopher had everything his father, the King's, wealth and power could provide. The only thing he wanted, however, was a man to share his life. When Prince Christopher saw stable boy Jensen, he knew he had to have the beautiful boy for his consort. Would innocent Jensen fall under the Prince's seductive spell?

I'm not even sure this isn't something I imagined, but I'll cut anyway.

[Spoiler (click to open)]I am talking about a Sam s8 spoiler and I am not seething with negativity. Meme, be proud. Anyway: I vaguely recall in the last few days seeing something that said that Sam's normal job was as a handyman. Has anyone else seen that? Am I imagining it?

I actually like that one because 1. it suggests not Sam ambitiously embarking on something, but Sam settling into getting some happiness out of life in a resigned, pragmatic way 2. It's not so improbable in light of Sam's legal status; that kind of work is often under the table 3. it could be full of Sam using skills that Dean taught him and being all wistful and thinking of Dean 4. Sam doing things with his hands, his big beautiful hands, UNF. Maybe wearing a coverall.

So if you can point me to a legit source on this, you will be dropping a bit of balm in my wounds.

I have watched pretty much all the interviews and stuff because I'm a raging masochist, and I haven't heard anything about Sam's specific job. So, no, sorry nonnie!

short and cute J2 interview, but interesting thing is that they confirm that we are opening up the season [Spoiler (click to open)]with them already reunited. Did we have direct confirmation of that yet? I do wonder how long they've been reunited when the season starts.

Because they thought people would react negatively to the brothers being physically separated for an extended number of episodes. I admit to being one of those people who was worried about them being separated, but I would have taken an entire season of Sam searching for Dean over this.

No, that bit I do understand. But why wouldn't they show when the boys actually get reunited? I assume they'll tell that part through flashbacks too, but I just don't see the logic.
