When I watched Yukikaze today, with yaoi filter set on high, I saw a lot of things. Mostly, I am stunned by how Yukikaze is a lot smarter and more subtle than I had thought. An overly fanciful rendering of Vampyroteuthis infernalis. Nice name. I'd like my first name to be infernalis too.

A better angle. I love the huge eyes and the lush red colouration. Makes it look so adorable.

It's unique, though. Neither squid nor octopus. It looks like a squid, so I'll call it that. But really, it's not.
