Comic Geekery!
Yay, I finally got to see The Avengers! I thought that it was a really satisfying follow up to the other films, and a lot of fun. I've never really been into The Avengers so I never really got Hawkeye but I actually liked how tech-y his bow and arrows were. Tony has chemistry with everyone. I appreciate that!

The Walking Dead Game - Episode One
Tonight I played the first The Walking Dead game. It's being released episodically; the first being "A New Day." I found it to be pretty faithful to the atmosphere of the comics, and I love that rather than being a shooter like Left for Dead it's actually a point and click story ( Read more... ) -
FUCK
Well fuck. I've just been given two months notice to move out my flat - only reason given is that it's "through reasons beyond [their] control." The office is closed now so I have to wait until Monday to speak to them.
I don't actually have all the money for deposits, moving costs etc.. so fuck. -

Today I got hit in the face with a softball. I have a bruise and some swelling on my chin. And PAIN. :'( -
Roller Derby
Tonight I went to roller derby. Oh boy am I sore! It was fun but it wasn't at all like I was expecting. I think there were fewer people than usual there - in fact it was mostly kids from the juniors. Softball

Article about the NHL campaign to combat homophobia in hockey/pro sports. I love Tanner Glass' attitude, and he seems like such a nice guy, I do miss him being a Canuck.
