We hope to be 13,000 participants strong and our mission is to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. We believe in one person's power to make a difference. WARNING THIS IS A RANT (side note: i woke up early to go to the store and get paczki's; and also I spent $500 plus $50ish a week on gas to take this GRE class up in tucson, which requires 7 hours a week of class, plus driving an hour and 15 miuntes each way, leaving by 3pm every tuesday/thursday to beat out traffic, and not getting home until ( Read more... ) -

I really don't know what to do. The more and more I think about next year; the more and more I want to be at home in Michigan. This has been a shitty week.
But ya know what makes me happy?
When I'm complaining about other peoples kids, and he says "Theres no way our kids will ever be that way"
And he's not saying that because I want to hear that.
He's saying it because he means it.
How reassuring is that?
THAT makes me happy.

Why is it so easy to realize what you have when its gone? Why do we wait until something is absent from our lives to see how good it was?
Why is it that it takes people loosing someone, something to appriciate what they have?

So here's a big update since my last major update:
- I am now living in Arizona, teaching at a charter school. I see all kids K-9 for PE.
- I now am a volleyball coach to kids who don't understand the meaning of teamwork.
- I am in my 4th long (est) distance relationship; and although it is 2,200 miles apart, I am most optimistic about this one, even after ( Read more... )
