I got my engineer summer roommate to watch the Tony's with me to help her decide what musical she wants to see with me. A friend of hers called and she answered the phone with "I'm watching the Tony's! I didn't even know that was a thing!"

One of the joys of living with Ana is that, on a regular basis, she inadvertently says hilarious things (She also says hilarious things on purpose. Many of those are rude nicknames and imitations of me.) So, here in the land of interviews and exams, Ana and I celebrated my birthday on Saturday when Ana took me out to eat at a very fancy local restaurant called "Eve". I found an online algorithm that lists words in a document by frequency. Under the cut, the lyrics of the Idina Menzel's I Stand (including the "hidden" Let Me Feel track) by frequency of use. The algorithm was imperfect, as is the transcription of lyrics, in that I chose to repeat "My own worst enemy" as many times as Idina and the back up singers ( Read more... )
