10:45 pace. Not my proudest, speediest run ever... but I did it on worn uncomfortable shoes, and I wasn't last; I wasn't even in the bottom quartile of my age group. and my god, i have really GOT to stop eating so many sweets. i had pumpkin pie, a donut and ice cream today, and i only ran 2 miles this morning thanks to a nasty super-blister.

Why do I hate my body so much and suffer from so much appearance related insecurity? It is extremely irrational. I am literally under 5 pounds overweight and have respectable body fat/muscle mass ratios even if they're not athlete rock star proportions. i already want to check out for the week. i'm off to chicago this weekend to hang with anne and run a 5k. My Very First Race, as it were. i have to load up on reading/studying tomorrow so i can be free in clear for the weekend!

i've gotten a little too used to the non-student lifestyle, and now i need a solid 8 hours of sleep a night or my socializing steam runs out after an hour and 2 beers. (granted, in the past 3 days, i've walked 15+ miles and run another 9). i'm a little cranky i guess.
