My Mom was a crafty lady.
My Mom loved to do crafts. She knitted and decoupaged. Made boxes covered in sea shells. At one point she painted and even wrote. Somewhere in one of my storage tubs I have some of her stories, which I have a hard time reading because they are pretty smutty ( Read more... ) -

There is this pendant I have been wearing every single day since my Dad gave it to me last Christmas. It's a sterling silver lowercase "A" from the "Book of Kells". The chain it came on broke last week and not having it on made me feel horribly naked! Been trying to find a used wool pea coat for a while now. It's hard for me to find one online because of the fun combo of being super short, but having a slightly longer torso. Plus, not cheap.
