Rolling the cheese...crazy heads!!!
Went to the annual cheese-rolling today in Gloucestershire. Was a good laugh and totally mad at the same time. Completely bonkers stuff west country style!!! Met lots of people I knew and so lovely to randomly bump into pals of mine from London (Kris & Mat) who I haven't seen in ages was funky to see them!

My flatmate has given me her nasty bout of tonsillitis and I have been in total agony for the last few days and feel rotten. I was fine on Tuesday and just felt a little niggle in my throat. Newborns galore!
Never seen so many newborns in one week before. Started working in women's health this week....so lots n lots of babies as working on the maternity wards. All a very new experience for me ( Read more... ) -
80s kiddies tv
I have such fond memories of early 80s kiddies tv. Well probably because I was just a kid back then and it was all so fascinating to me. For years now I have been trying to remember the name of a particular programme I remember seeing and loved back in the early 80s. It both fascinated and scared me. Yay, yummy yummy choc!
I was so excited last night when I spotted Milka Triolade chocolate in Bristol airport on my way over to Dublin. So much so, that I bought 1.2kg (4 x300g bars) of it!
I have never seen it over here before and I usually only stocked up on it on visits to Austria/Germany or begged pals from there to bring me some over when visiting!

Bookworm week
Really enjoyed some of the events I went to last week at the Cheltenham Literature Festival. Didn't realise before I moved here what a big thing it was.

Hmmm, still 74% of Physio graduates unemployed!
Situation is still very depressing. I haven't tried to actually apply for a proper Physio job since I got offered the Physio assistant position. I am keeping an eye out everyday, but am happy so far so will stick with what I've got for the time being. Memory loss
Hmmm, last Sunday I had a very vivid dream about my mum and was thinking about her all day Monday. Late on Monday evening, I suddenly realised what date it was and that I had totally forgotten her 6 year anniversary, which was last Saturday, the 8th September (she died on Saturday, the 8th September 2001....buried 11th September, so not a day/date ( Read more... ) -
Money money money
I just seem to be getting richer and richer this week and I haven't even been paid yet for my new job. Not until the end of September/beginning of October I think it is. I was so broke at the end of the last month/start of this month and had to ask pops to lend me a bit of cash to get me through.
