So "9 hours" is definitely 10 hours of work starting at 6:45 (I have to get up at 5:30) which means plus travel time basically 12 hours of my day. Plus 8 hours sleep, and that leaves me 4 hours of free time, except then there is also dinner and a shower (I'm switching back to showering everyday since this work is positively filthy) so thats even ( Read more... ) -

So I just got back from shopping for the last 4 hours. Fortunately it was for stuff that interested me as opposed to something that I had to do. The unpleasant part was the minimum of sleep preceding this gran mal shopping trip (thanks WoW, you're awesome!). Mainly just hanging out and playing WoW here. I got to play with Ellen for a short while which was lots of fun. Maybe next weekend and a larger group of us can get together. I got my hair cut yesterday, and I really like it. Its shorter in the back and sides but the curls are still there, and whats particularly nice is that its not insane in ( Read more... ) -

Alright so I'm here in Switzerland and I'm alive. I've started setting up my class stuff for June and that seems fine. I'm having trouble setting up an account for World of Warcraft, some issue with the subscription thing but I sent them an email, so hopefully they'll fix that and let me give them my money ( Read more... ) -

so I'm alive and in Paris after my flight to Zurich from London got canceled. I made my way here with a 17 year old Swiss kid a super sexy (seriously this guy was saucy) 26 year old Parisian Investment banker, and for part of the journey some French women and her mother. One thing I didn’t mention in my last entry and then didn’t get to because of my hospital internment was my “discovery” of great spots on the train. On Monday, on my way to clinic and once again on the way back I rode on the side of the train. Waterfalls, EMTing and Tailors
So today was just completely wonderful. I’m still just giddy from it. I got up at 6:30 after maybe five, five and half hours of sleep to get ready for the 7:00 car ride to Lanavella. I did some more work at the leprosy clinic today which was fun and interesting. I’m getting better at the scalpel work on the ulcers, but I found out why you’re supposed to move the electrical stimulation therapy wand around their arms vs just leaving it one place. Weapons, Elephants and Kabob
So I forgot mention that on Tuesday I went to the museum formerly known as the Prince of Wales museum (now its something in Hindi). Its a really cool place and I think my Dad would totally love it, I really want to show him. My favorite exhibits were on the top floor.
