D-Day ... +4
I pressed "Post to Syleth" on that last post last Wednesday, and thought I was done with pre-birth posting. Quite obviously not.
The last 4 days have been pointedly uneventful. Total achievements include- making some custom black-out curtains for the nursery (it gets very bright in there in the afternoon)

D-Day!
Well, here we are. 22nd June. Gosh.
I've been meaning to do trojan updates but I never get past a few lines before getting distracted by something else.
So, let's keep this short.

What I did on my holidays
What I did on my holidays- slept in a lot of the beds - a ahort sleep in a Travelodge before the ferry (as you'd expect), a berth on the ferry (small and a bit cold - strange to be sleeping in the same room as my husband but not actually with him), my own bed in my parents house (smaller than our own bed at hom, the Camden Court Hotel, the Radisson ( Read more... )

Quarterly updates now, is it?
Still here! I'm having a quiet day in Cork, mainly lounging around in bed and enjoying our lovely hotel, while my husband brings home bacon (or lettuce). So...let's do 4 months in bullet points...- I'm in Ireland for two weeks, mainly staying with my parents. I've been spoilt, fed and generally kept like one of those Kobe steak cows. Alas, poor LJ, I knew him well. I have been SO remiss with my LJ this year - but I’ll just scoot something in to try and bring you up to date- Christmas was nice - if short. Well, that was a great rest-of-week and weekend :)
Tuesday evening was a brilliant meal with jonnynexus and his lovely Jules. We went to Planet India in Brighton, which is veggie/vegan. Delicious food all the way - I had chat to start, followed by korma and sag paneer. Just spectacular. We had a great night of discussion and laughter. Really felt like a ( Read more... ) -
