It was interesting. Generally the same as a normal gummy bear, but covered in a thin layer of grainy whitish colored stuff.
I spent some time debating if I should keep the cup or not- not strictly because of the mold- that is washable, but because it was obvious how long it had been since it was used :)
That's intriguing; I, likewise, have never experienced a moldy gummi bear (although I've encountered dessicated gummi bears before).
If cups are part of a set and if you are interested in having large groups of people over, I tend to incline towards keeping more than are used "regularly" for the two of you, but several years is more than a bit long... On the other hand, I think the most stemware we've actually used at once is 8 of each kind, so one box of our wine glasses hasn't been technically needed since we got married - but I'm glad it's there, as we'll likely have even more people here for Thanksgiving this year, and more than 8 of them may want wine?
Yea... it's not part of a set. It is a big plastic Seahawks mug. It's great for rootbeer floats... but I think I always forgot about it because of it's location.
I've decided to keep it for now, and reevaluate in another year.
