I had a really morbid and on reflection disturbing dream last night...
...and now I can't sleep for thinking of the details. So I decided to jump on hell-jay and spread the misery in case it would help. ( Warning, this may get gory, in only the way a student of medicine currently studying surgery can. Don't read if you're weak of stomach ) -
I just watched the first episode of Sherlock...
...and there's some serious internal fangirling going on inside. Not for the witty dialogue, as some might think. Not for the borderline slash, which I know others on my friends list definitely think. It's for the witty subversion or echoing of a bunch of different Sherlock Holmes details.

The Night Shift
I've just spent the last four nights doing 'night shift' at the SCGH ED. It's not proper night shift, because since the hospital doesn't want to provide us with beds, nor take responsibility for what happens if we start at 10:30pm and then drive home at 8:30am, we start at 8pm and finish by about 1am.
