Social networks: pro or con? Pro, totally. Seriously, who doesn't need a social network? They make us sane. For a third time, I find that a piece of OSX software has no Linux equivalent. The first time this happened, it was Quicktime Pro (now the mencoder/h264 quality and performance are better on Linux), the second time it was Keynote (there are Linux equivalents, but Keynote was just easier), and now it is Address Book. I woke up yesterday much earlier than usual. I put on three pants before finding the ones that I had wanted to wear. I was at multiplexer and ect's place in Maryland, and capital_l and I were to fly back to Boston that day.
