Is it okay to get water on the incision, i am 1 week and 3 days post partum and they have already removed the staples, i was just wondering if i can take regular showers now cuz for the past week i have been taking sponge baths cuz i wasnt sure if it would be okay to get water or soap around the incison.

I had a c-section on the 21st, so i was wondering if any of you who had one done before could give me advice on how to have a good recovery , like any certain things u did to help the pain besides pain killers because i have plenty of that, any advice would be really appreciated, thank you.
