Let's be honest, how many people do you know in the south? Cause the south is rising like a mutherfucker and the "old" south is the "new" south.

It's all well and good to be from New England but the toothless yokels south of the Mason Dixon line are running things now and it sucks.

You mean those electronic ballot boxes with no way to verify the results, that are error-prone, and are run by a republican-backed company?

i know a couple religious people who voted for bush. Also, my parents (which I'm ashamed to say) AND my parents in-laws who are a pastor and wife (so obviously).

I think mostly it's the younger generations that vote for who we like. For instance, my mom doesn't vote for bush, she votes republican no matter who it is. I don't get it, but it's true that you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

I guess I don't know any religious people or pastors. The closest would be my "Catholic" friends and family, who oppose the death penalty with such fervor that Bush isn't an option.
