Another bird got into the shed today.
It was flapping away at the window in a vain atempt to escape.
When it settled I had to pick it up and sling it out.
I was amazed that it didn't struggle. I've never picked up a wild bird before.

It took me about 2 1/2 hours to get my broadband connection working this morning. Which means my wfh day is going to extend well into the evening. It's amazing how many different switches there are to turn off and on again and how many different orders there are. Real permutations and combinations stuff.

Where I grew up there was a fairly large Jewish community. It wasn't quite Golders Green and definitely wasn't orthodox. OK, so I think I probably ought to have read some Iain M. Banks. I've read a little Ian Banks (isn't The Wasp Factory compulsory reading these days?), but somehow those big flashy Culture novels have never really appealed.
