I am a little Borked this-morning, my legs have taken exception to the 14 miles imposed upon them yesterday. Today I think I will not be going that far and that will be done slowly. -
The weekend starts NOW!!!!!!!!
A 4 day weekend, thank god I need it. Motorway as usual has lots of people with caravans heading for the lake district, I personally have never seen the attraction of towing a small house behind a car to go on holiday. Plans for Easter are vague at the moment but I do not care i am on holiday. -
We are happy
We have a valid MOT for the landrover, at last. Stress level now back to normal, Gotto go off to work now, I wonder if they will notice I did not bother to turn up this-morning.

Its freezin
Tis exceedingly cold in the Tundra today, frosty dog walking has been done, fish finger paninni's for lunch, yum.
Question - Is anyone planning on being out and about in town either tommorow or monday??
Planning on coming in to town, walk Morse and possibly do a spot of lunch (Hoose) but open to suggestions. -
Freezing, nice weather if you are a polar bear.....
minus 9 degrees on the A7 tonight, an hour at a standstill on the M6, motorway closed, most likely some arsehole speeding in the fog. But nice and toasty in the car, remind me why do I have to drive down here only to drive back up on Tuesday. Oh well still in one piece. -

The joys of Autumn
I have a nose, runny and raw!
morsesmum and I have been wrestling with felt and nails on the roof of a shed this morning. Doggie walking, bread making and soup and the changing of clocks. All we need is a log fire and an excuse to shut the door for a few weeks of hibernation. Bliss. -
14:40 and we have food
40 miniutes into morsesmum's birthday BBQ and we have food enough to feed the masses of a biblical proportion. Alcohol is also flowing.

It rained, we cooked, that was our weekend
A long time ago, August used to be a sunny month, anyway the weather was poo so the weekend saw a hibernation weekend at chez moose. Time was spent in the kitchen with morsesmum making choc chip muffins on Friday which dissapeared on Saturday, The moose mastered plums in balsmic vineger with ice cream, pork belly and roast chicken among other things. internet radio, how bizzare, sitting hundreds of miles from home listening to radio borders and forth 2. Summer is here at last.
amazing how many modern cars are sitting on the hard shoulder broken down with the bonnets up.
Petrol seems to be cheaper this week.
