I just got the Women's Studies Symposium Proceedings in the mail! And while it isn't anything that anyone, anywhere is likely to read, I still get to feel a happy little bit of accomplishment for my feminist autobiography.

In the words of Steve Martin, "My name! In print!"

Congrats!

You beat me! :)

I don't know when my little piece will come out though it is scheduled for sometime this year last I heard.

Hey you! We're praying for you! Your publications are appearing in actual books and journals though which is way up there in terms of prestige. Mine is just a little symposium proceedings booklet. And besides, don't you have a bajillion book reviews?

Tim and I had a conversation tonight about how you are going to be the highly-esteemed doctor in the family with lots of books, a Fullbright, etc to his name and I'm going to be the squirrelly professor with odd opinions, nonexistent influence, and a single page long vitae ;)

Thanks for the link, although it is telling that the posters seem to be vastly unaware of the huge amounts of HP lit that already exists. I'll probably send an abstact anyway. Can't wait to hear more from Denmark!
