Ship meme - Day 10 and Day 11
I have two days worth of meme to catch up on plus some work stuff that will be posted separately of course. On the bus home I read all the missed entries from the last 2 days, since the last time I was online was 10am yesterday - and I saw lots of cheating ;)
Yesterday's question was - Why aren't these two married in real life?
I can't help but say Zachary Levi/Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck). Once again it's a question of it being the most recent ship, the freshest in your memory. I don't really do RPF anyway and I think there's a very thin line between a passing comment of 'these two would be good together' and the conviction that they are actually in love with each other.
I think these two could be good together because of the playfulness between them in interviews, they seem to genuinely get along plus there's all the added fun of Yvonne being not only 'a foreigner', but quite out of touch with reality in general. One time she was telling a story about how Zach hurt his hand playing a videogame and the interviewer was like "a Wii", and Yvonne was like, what?, and he repeated "it's called a Wii" and all she said was "oh, I don't know." HOW CAN ANYONE IN 2009/2010/whenever that interview is from NOT KNOW WHAT A NINTENDO WII IS?
So yeah, I guess in my little romantic head there's always a bit of room for he shows her the world, they become close and fall in love. Lol.

Today's question is - what is your dream pairing?
We've had a few discussions about what this even means. Is it a pairing you really want but hasn't happened yet? Is it a pairing that would never ever happen and so it's a dream? Is it soooo completely impossible that it's an (GASP!!!) inter-fandom pairing?? (I hate inter-fandom shipping. It is just shtoopid).
Initially I thought I'd say Xena in the sense that an overt Xena/Gabrielle relationship was needed so that no one would dare say that it was subtext and not necessarily the only interpretation. But after I used that couple in question 4, I've decided for the "will never happen, but would be kinda cute" approach to this question.
Liz/Jenna (30 Rock)
I just want to see this. I can't even explain it. It would be so cracky and awesome - they're the two best characters in the show and it would just spark so many comedic moments. Plus I am tired of seeing Liz paired up with loser guys. There seems to be a general love, no - an adoration of Liz and Wesley Snipes in the fandom and I'm all, really? I HATE him!! He's so boring and unfunny! I think it's time for Liz to explore her lesbian side. I know she's denied it before, but come on woman, take a hint! You'd be better off with a woman - and it would totally be Jenna coming onto Liz, not the other way around, so Liz could just play along and see what happens out of desperation. Plus I need to see Jenna freak out about being with a woman XDD
