I'm back in town after my Mumbai-Delhi trip. The old man yazad is now married and the young man, my brother, is now engaged. It was a good break. Met many friends in Mumbai, and a few in Delhi. Had fun driving all over South Delhi on the smooth wide roads, and now that I'm back in pothole city, I am missing those roads.

I'm off this morning on a 10-day trip to Mumbai and Delhi. In Mumbai, yazad is getting married.

After that, in Delhi, my kid brother (all of 25 years old) is getting engaged to his girlfriend of two years.

This is a new strawberry dessert I conjured up at Shiok. I thought of taking the pretty standard strawberries and cream and enhancing them a bit by first marinating them in a mixture of orange and red wine for a few hours, then putting them in a martini glass with the liquid, and topping it up with a dollop of vanilla cream and a mint leaf.

Organised a 7-course tasting menu for 30 people from ryze last night. Damn, it wasn't easy doing this kind of thing while simultaneously handling a full house for regular a la carte dining.
