Announcing the completion of my first bass.

Yes yes, that's right, the bass prototype that I've been building for nearly a year is finally finished.

Photos and a recording featuring it will soon be on my site.

I was playing it a great deal last night after I finished, all I can say is, I rule.

Let's see some ID please.Ready for a world where you must give your computer a scan of your finger print to even turn it on? How about a world where your own computer tells you what software you are and are not allowed to run? I recently got some new-ish computer gear with hopes that things like more/faster memory, faster bus, higher rpm harddisc and faster processor would help with my audio recording. Today I tried to reply to a post on slashdot.org. A little message popped up and told me I have been banned from posting due to "excessive bad posting". I find this hilarious, since I tend to post about once a week. My most recent post was on the 22nd of this month. Rory's performance last night rocked my world. Shame it really was the kind of place he normally plays.

Also, I think he was mackin on me.

...but I won't. Rory Stitt is playing in West Seattle tonight. I had hoped to be able to go down to Portland to see him on the 19th, but house-sitting got in the way. I hope he'll let me make a recording. The new recorder has been begging, I mean begging me to use it.
