I bought a new Ultra power supply just in the off-chance that the higher voltage on the 12v rail would clear up the corruption problem with my Geforce 6800 GT (as it has for other people).
Sadly, it didn't, but wow...my computer doesn't sound like a vacuum cleaner anymore! It was worth it for that alone.

If a religion isn't willing to give out a free copy of its main book (its "bible", so to speak), then just stay away. They're not there out of concern for your ultimate well-being. They're there to get as much money from you before you fold.
