Summer fun
I'll be leaving Thursday afternoon to trek out to the Chicago area for a family gathering. It'll be the farthest west I've been! So, blogging. I guess this counts as a blog, though I'm not clear on the difference between an online journal and a blog. In my head a journal is more of a personal thing, where you write about your potentially boring day-to-day stuff and fangirl over things, whereas a blog is for your specialized knowledge, like politics or fashion or cooking ( Read more... ) -
Odds and ends of late
1. My youngest sister graduated high school yesterday! She starts art school in the fall (making me the only kid in the family who didn't go to art school). But damn, graduation ceremonies are an ordeal to sit through, and there were about 900 kids graduating in this one. There were 10 people who gave speeches!
