Aly investigated the house as she waited for Roy to finish shaving.  It was almost funny how barren the house was, how it was completely devoid of any personality.  She thought little of Amestrian architecture already, but seeing the inside of this so-called 'furnished house' made her wonder just how sad and cold the lower officers' quarters were ( Read more... )

Aly leaned back against the couch, grinning too much at the sight of Roy covered by cats.  It wasn't nearly as amusing as she tried to make it seem, but it was definitely easier to concentrate on that than the fact he was leaving shortly.

She pointed her toe to poke him in the leg.  "Still want that coffee?"

After watching more than a few of the people she called 'aunt' and 'uncle' sing, dance, and generally make fools out of themselves, Aly was in a better mood than she had been.  She didn't particularly want to go home though, and so after getting a cup of coffee from the teachers' lounge, she made her way down to the beach.

The office door was open, and Aly was reviewing tapes from the archives.  Mostly for the amusement value but also because she didn't have nearly enough concentration to actually work.

Aly let herself into the apartment after a trip to get cupcakes and Chinese food.  She stopped short, grinning at the sight on the couch.  "Did you ever consider changing careers?" she teased, shaking her head at Roy and the two demanding cats curled up on his chest.  "Because you're a great pillow."

Aly had been following the elections with a bemusement that came from an extensive experience with monarchies and a year of dating a declared political geek.  She wondered just how much money Josh had won - or lost - on this particular set of elections.  Hopefully the entire pot if his candidate turned out as he hoped.

Aly turned towards Roy's apartment instead of braving the affection-needing cats in her apartment.  "Come on, Mustang.  That's the last time I'm taking you to a wedding," she teased, tugging him after her.

After Alan had headed off to - wherever he thought he was going - Aly slipped into Roy's apartment.  She smirked as she saw Roy reading with Dee curled up on his lap.  "And they say I have you whipped," she teased.  "They just don't know Dee well enough."

It was Parents' Weekend and thankfully her parents hadn't shown up this time so Aly was in a rather good mood as she played darts in her office.  The door was open for all who wished to visit.
