I'm not exactly sure why, but I have written less every day since the start. Which is odd, since I'm actually picking up the pace, in terms of words per hour, by almost 50% since the start. That just has to mean that I'm writing less words, for less time ( Read more... )

Notice I did not mention anything about the election. I'm pretty gutted about it. Glad that my lost absentee ballot didn't matter, since the entire North East went 'blue'. But I'm trying to not dwell on the results, not think too much about the (fukced-up) future of the US ( Read more... )

Not too shabby a start. A slight delay out of the gates, I didn't start until 12:15am, but I hit the ground running. I wrote for about three-quarters of an hour, and got in about 804 words. Then today, on the commute to work, I thought out a bit more of the plot and outline (still don't have a name for my hero ( Read more... )

I can't believe that it is now less than 8 hours until Nano starts. I thought I would have a lot more posts in my blog, and I thought I would have a lot more planning done.

I haven't even figured out who my hero is yet!

Oh yeah, that reminds me, I never even posted about my genre yet!

As I walked up the street toward the bus stop, two men pulled a very large green leather case on wheels from the back of a lorry. It reminded me of something a magician would have on stage. I wondered what the trick was to be. I realized that, for the moment, I had forgotten about the miserable wet raininess of the evening. Magic!

Yes, I've made a NEW BLOG for Nanowrimo '04. It is here. In the great tradition that I made last year, I will also post the entries here in LJ, because otherwise, this poor thing gets neglected (more than usual).
