Today was the day of fallen-through plans. I expected to spend my last senior day running around having adventures, but all I did today was watch TV, play on the computer, and have a really awkward job interview with an Indian guy who called me a "youngster". Sweet.

I just e-mailed all of my colleges to tell them I'm not going. It was surprisingly unemotional. I thought I'd be sad telling Carleton no, but I guess the fact that I completely couldn't afford it (despite the killer drawing I sent them) softened the blow. I just sent in my Grinnell deposit! SUCCESS!!! I'm Iowa bound!!!

And now I have probably the best day ever ahead of me: Breakfast with KARL, then going to Jamlean (king kool lounges!! yessss!!), dying easter eggs, and then watching Dodgeball with my sister. AND I'm going to college!!

so thursday morning i left to go visit. and let me just say, i'm pretty much in love! at my other college visits, i pretty much sat around all day. at grinnell...
