I have a facebook and a twitter. I am twitchyier on twitter. I am cornelia marie finewhaller on facebook. Both of them are kind of ridiculous. I am loving the weather. Right now at 4:24 p.m. it's 84 degrees! perfect. It won't last though.. Monday is supposed to get into the 100's???? I think I said it last year.. "what happened to spring".. we go straight from winter to summer. UGH!!! oh well ( Read more... ) -

Time flies by at warp speed, and I am still going at a snail's pace.
I did some picture taking yesterday of a nearby cemetery. Oak Grove Cemetery. It's a beautiful old place somewhat spooky.. overgrown.. but still tended. my cioppino
Tonight I made a cheaper version of cioppino... than the last batch I made.. and it was very very good. .. so I thought I would save it here.
1 bottle of clam juice + 1 bottle of water (I used the clam juice bottle)
1 small can of minced clams (don't drain!!!)
1 can of italian diced tomatoes
1 small can of tomato sauce

I am a mad scientist...
or maybe I just have a repressed memory and I saw this somewhere once. I roasted a whole head of garlic and it was fabulous! I ate a couple of the cloves but... with the rest I squeezed them into a little jar and put some olive oil in there.. to "keep" them a while longer.. I am not really sure if it will work.
