I recently bought a Ford Ranger pickup. I expect to be transporting more heavy things in the future and I was getting sick of the FWD in the Volvo.

There was a short line at the Bedford polls this morning and it moved fast. I was in and out in seven minutes flat.

On their fourth launch attempt, SpaceX successfully put one of their Falcon rockets into orbit. This is a more significant milestone in my mind than the success of Scaled Composites and SpaceShipOne. Getting into orbit is a much bigger challenge that getting into space.
I wish them many more successful and lucrative launches.

Liability releases tend to be pretty boring, full of ass-covering legal minutiae. The best liability release I've encountered thus far was when an instructor led his class in singing "This is a damned dangerous class" in four part harmony. (N.B. a lawyer friend strongly discourages this approach.)

The Supreme Court just granted cert on DC vs. Heller (formerly Parker vs DC).

They're just in time for the 2008 election season.

I went for a tour of our land yesterday. Now that there's actual construction going on we've limited site access to once a month.
