I'm starting to get a little bit cranky at skinnable applications. With Adium as the exception (skins can make it so much more low-profile, the way an IM program should be), all skins do is make the program stand out like a sore thumb on my desktop. I am very happy with TWC customer service, but I get really frustrated when their DNS appears to completely crash, and it can't find Facebook or Google or something similarly simple. It'll just keep looping me back to their Roadrunner search page, "We couldn't find www.whatever.com." And then there's a recursive link to it right there. *sigh ( Read more... )
