I wrote fic! A little due South snipped titled Winter

A couple of days ago I finished one of the shawls I've been working on. It turned out pretty good, and I think I might actually have some use for it. It's warm and snuggly, and nice to pull around my shoulders when I'm just hanging out at home.

I'm full of Chirstmas spirit this year. Today I've baked gingerbread cookies and listened to a lot of Chistmas music, and I actually had a lot of fun picking our presents for my family last week. I've been knitting stuff that I'm going to send to the Red Cross knitting campaign. The last thing I knitted (for this batch at least) was a pair of children's socks. For some reason that felt epecially nice. While I was knitting I kept thinking that some kid who really needs them is going to be wearing them soon.
