is happiness a function of hormones (nature/chemistry), or a function of thought (nurture/training)? i have seen arguments presented for both sides.

on the way down yesterday, there was an interesting program on a violinist who did a pilgrimage to santiago with his violin. very interesting and likey to interest a few on my flist. can't remember too many details, but it would have been between noon and 3pm.
