I saw my oncologist yesterday, and since the neuropathy in my hands and feet is becoming too much for me, I'm only going to do chemo every other week from now on. It's a relief, because my fingers are starting to be almost useless. I drop stuff, and it hurts to hold things tightly. I'm hoping this will get better before my chemo next week ( Read more... )

I've been behind on everything because last week I started new meds. Morphine and Zoloft are a hell of a one-two punch! I've spent the last week in a haze and sleeping, but now I'm finally adjusting and coming back to life, without pain and with less hot flashes. The weather yesterday was perfect for walking around the zoo, and Becca and I had a magnificent day. My favorite part was feeding and petting the goats. We also saw wallabies running around, Dolphins, penguins, rhinos who liked to show us their butts, and many other wonderful animals.
