Today is my last day at work.
Tonight I'm going to see Elvis Costello in concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
Tomorrow morning I fly out to Nice for my 4 night trip to the F1 Monaco GP
I have chocolate and the sun is shinning (well it is in London, not so sure about in Nice/Monaco). All is well with the world :) -
No chocolate bunnies on this diet...
I tried to write a post earlier this week that didn't solely contain stuff about telly programmes I'm watching. I failed.
I have got tickets to visit the Damien Hirst retrospective at Tate Modern in May but that's not too exciting (at least not until I've seen it).
Ho hum.. 4 day weekend coming up.. um..

New Kimi icon, I haz it :)
The Malaysian Grand Prix seemed to take up a huge wodge of my weekend. Probably because there was a major rain delay that pushed combined Sky & BBC coverage to the over 7 hour mark on Sunday alone. I follow the icanhaschzbrgr lolcats RSS feed (amusing cats power the internets, don't you know) and I've noticed that the trend seems to be for these flat-faced tiny-eared kitties. Call me picky, but those cats look dangerously interbred and are seriously un-cute - what's the attraction?!

Thoughts on the weekend...
1. Very sad about Whitney Houston, although, with her history, the news was far from shocking. She wasn't one of my favourites (liked her voice but not her style of songs) but a real tragedy for someone so young.
2. I didn't watch the BAFTA's because I have no interest in award shows but I did enjoy all the news clips with George Clooney - he ( Read more... ) -
I love weekends....
I've now been in bed for over 12 hours straight and have no plans in moving.
Just thought I'd share.
ETA: 2pm and out of bed. Feeling a bit tired; better go sit on the sofa. -

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say, I'm not bothered by the LJ changes. Losing a header I never used and getting icon pictures instead of a drop down title list when leaving comments doesn't seem that big a deal to warrant all the fuss.
Am I missing something? -
