"Wicked" by Gregory Maguire all I can say about "Wicked" is WOW!!! I like this story MUCH better than the original "Wizard of Oz". Can't wait to read other stuff by Maguire

Today I finished my 2nd ever 10K. This is actually the 4th race I've entered in Seoul, not counting the 5k's on post. I ran it in 1:05. I wanted to finish in under and hour--59:59 would have been great but it just wasn't in the cards for me. What pisses me off is I am my own worst enemy. What is up with US air carriers?

United just announced that they will start charging for the 2nd piece of checked luggage on domestic flights unless you are a member of their premiere frequent flyer program. WTF?

How is it that air carriers in the US  have PISS-POOR customer service, offer very little to know in-flight services, charge RIDICULOUS ( Read more... )

Here's the deal.

When I plug my iPod into my computer, I cannot open iTunes.

When I open iTunes first and then plug the iPod into the computer it never registers it.

There is a serious miscommunication problem between my iPod and my computer. Any ideas? Suggestions?

Also--when I do plug it in, the screen saying "do not unplug" comes on and NEVER goes ( Read more... )

Finished another "My Sister's Keeper" by Jody Piccoult. Very heart-wrenching. Incredible story--makes you think. Made me hate the mother, and I cried a river over the ending. WOW.
